This event is probably the city's most coveted weekend event, and thousands flock to Natchez to catch a glimpse of the colorful hot air balloons in the skies over the city. After the morning flight has concluded, the gates of the bicentennial gardens at historic Rosalie open to festival goers who tote their lawn chairs and blankets to a good spot for listening to an afternoon of regional music. There are regional food vendors on the grounds and a variety of beverages are available.
