2012 Jim Bowie Festival

The Jim Bowie Festival has been bringing its Louisiana flavor to the banks of the Mississippi River for over 20 years! Enjoy the Jim Bowie BBQ Throwdown-sanctioned by the Kansas City BBQ Society, the famous sandbar duel reenactment by Jack Edmondson, a Historic Village, vendors, Louisiana foods and the Little Mr. & Miss Jim Bowie Pageant. The Jim Bowie Solid Gold Saturday Night will feature Country Boy Mark Porter, Kevin Curtis-Master of Impressions, and the Louisiana Roadhouse Band from Gretna.
