Natchez Little Theatre, Mississippi's oldest community theatre celebrating 80 years of entertainment, proudly presents the adult black comedy about white trash, "Sordid Lives." A colorful family from a small Texas town must come to grips with the accidental death of the elderly family matriarch during a clandestine meeting in a seedy motel room with her much younger, married neighbor. The woman's family must deal with their own demons while preparing for what could be an embarrassing funeral. (This is an adult comedy with strong language and adult situations.)
This sell-out comedy hit from last season is back by popular demand for the Natchez Fall Pilgrimage and Great Mississippi River Balloon Race Weekend. Performances are Friday, Saturday, Monday & Wednesday evenings at 7:30 p.m. from September 28 - October 13, with a final Sunday matinee on October 14, at 2:00 p.m. There will be a benefit/preview performance on Thursday, September 27, at 7:00 p.m. with $10 tickets.
