As a river community where cultures have always intermingled, Natchez restaurants offer some of the most delicious food and diverse dining you'll find anywhere in the South.

Because we're right on the Mississippi, dining in Natchez also offers an abundance of fresh, delicious seafood. In fact, when the first steamboat dropped anchor here in 1811, the newspaper didn't hail the dawn of a new economic era. The headline was "Fresh oysters available in Natchez now"!
