Rose Hill Baptist Church
Rose Hill Baptist Church
Rose Hill Baptist Church was organized before the Civil War and is the oldest organized black Baptist congregation in Mississippi. The church is located on Madison Street between Rankin and Martin Luther King, Jr. Streets. The present brick church building, constructed in 1908, stands on the site of an earlier frame building that burned in 1907.
