“Music has always been at the heart of my family,” says Hannah when asked how it all started. “From a family gospel band, to singing along with Faith Hill and Shania Twain, then jamming out to Creedence Clearwater Revival, music was a part of everything we did.” Hannah grew up in rural Mississippi in a place called Red Lick. “There wasn’t too much to do around there. Town was 30 miles away… so on a normal day you could find me working outside with the animals or singing my heart out with a karaoke machine in my bedroom.”
Hannah began her career singing in church. With her dad being a Baptist preacher, she always had the opportunity to get on a stage and perform… and that’s exactly what she did. “We had a family band, and my part was to play my red tambourine and sing my heart out,” she laughed, “and I loved every minute of it. I knew that I was meant to be a performer.” Throughout high school you could find her singing at any event at school, performing at local town festivals, and even singing the National Anthem for the Dixie National Rodeo in Jackson, MS. But Hannah always knew there was more inside of her than just singing other artist’s music. “I knew there was more to this.. I loved singing all of the classics from Patsy Cline to Loretta Lynn. My favorites to cover were Shania Twain, the Dixie Chicks, Faith Hill, and Patty Loveless, but I wanted to sing my songs.”
Magnolia Sessions Country Songwriter Series w/ Hannah Belle Musical Host: Brandon McCrainie Saturday, Oct. 24 tickets $15
Doors Open: 7:00 PM
Music: 8:30 PM
Admission Cost: $15.00
Music will be presented in a listening room environment.
That means a quiet audience paying attention to the music and performance.
There is plenty of room for chatting and socializing outside of the performance area. We want everyone to enjoy their experience and respect each other in that experience.
This program will take place in the outside courtyard of EPYK with ample room for social distancing. In the event of inclement weather the show will be moved inside where distancing can still be maintained.
We appreciate your support.
We would ask that you wear a facemask for entry, movement about the venue and when ordering from the bar.
If you don't have one, we can provide one for you at the bar. It's important we take care and look out for each other during this particularly difficult and vulnerable time.
There will be limited admission to this event due to social distancing and space could run out.
Seating will be on a first come first serve basis. If we are outside, (and we hope we are!) there are tables available. Limited availability of 4-6 person tables. All other seating is chairs w/ no table.
We look forward to bringing you a varied list of programming thru this program that will be fun, entertaining, informative and innovative.
Thanking you again for your support and enthusiasm!
This is going to finish out as a great year! We are excited!
