A Hallmark Christmas in Natchez

Visit Natchez invites visitors to skip the crowded cities and instead spend the holidays in this quaint riverside community with this year’s exciting lineup of family-friendly events. With tours of Natchez’s decorated historic homes, enchanting light displays and the annual Christmas parade led by Santa Claus himself, there is no shortage of activities and events for everyone to enjoy.

Christmas in Natchez is a month-long celebration of the holidays from November 27 - December 25 which includes the lighting of the downtown Christmas Tree, caroling in the park, holiday home tours, and special Christmas events.



Explore the Filing Sites of “Every Time a Bell Rings”

The Hallmark made-for-TV film, “Every Time A Bell Rings,” recently finished filming in Natchez and will premiere this holiday season on the Hallmark Channel. The film will be available starting on November 18th on Hallmark Movies Now, the Hallmark streaming app, and will debut on the Hallmark Channel on December 5th.



Self-Guided Tour

This movie is authentically set in Natchez, filmed at many recognizable local spots and features real Natchez Christmas traditions. Pick up a pamphlet at the Visitors Center and take a self-guided tour of all the filming locations to feel transported to a Hallmark winter wonderland.

Christmas Tours at Natchez’s Historic Homes

Holiday Hours- some homes may be closed on Christmas Day

Natchez’s beloved historic homes including Longwood, Stanton Hall and Rosalie make spirits bright each year when they open for Christmas tours. These homes will deck the halls this holiday season for guests from all over to admire the classic estates and festive decorations.

Christmas at Sunnyside: Do You See What I See Tour

Friday, Nov. 26—Friday, Dec. 31

Sunnyside is an elegant, 1850s Greek-Revival cottage situated on 10 acres near historic downtown Natchez. During the Christmas season, the historic home, which is also a bed and breakfast, decorates over 30 trees with different holiday fashions and opens its doors twice daily for the Christmas at Sunnyside Do You See What I See? tours from Nov. 26-Dec. 31. Tours run at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m. and admission is $20. Children under 12 can attend the tour for free.

The historic Towers Mansion decks the halls for the holiday season and invites all to marvel at the splendor of this majestically restored home during its Jeweled Christmas Tours, which USA Today has named one of the top 10 most unusual Christmas displays in the United States. Admission is $25.
